Abate, curano da sempre, per tradizione, ma soprattutto
per essere coerenti con la propria regola: “Ora
et Labora”, i rapporti con l’umanità
attraverso la preghiera, il conforto spirituale e l’aiuto
materiale.
Il loro lavoro, risultato di secoli di studi, di empirismi
e di saggezza, si articola con l’istruzione e l’educazione
dei giovani, con lo studio, con la cura dell’orto
e, soprattutto, con la cura dell’uomo.
La loro tradizione centenaria ne ha fatto i depositari
di formule e prodotti che ancora si rifanno alle antiche
lavorazioni di un tempo.
La loro serietà, la loro etica, la loro esperienza
ma soprattutto la loro dedizione hanno fatto sì
che, ancor oggi, si possa apprezzare il frutto del loro
lavoro. |

The Benedettini Silvestro Monks of S. Silvestro Abbot
traditionally have always cured others in order to be
consistent with the rule: “Ora et Labora,”
(“Pray and Work”) the relations with humanity
through prayer, spiritual comfort, and material help.
Their work, resulted from centuries of studies on empiricalism
and wisdom, is articulated in the education and training
of the youth, through studies, with the care of their
vegetable garden, and especially with the care of man.
Their century tradition created the deposits of formulas
and products that are still reproduced to the ancient
makings of the time.
Their reliability, ethics, experience, and in particular,
devotion that still stands today, can be appreciated as
the fruits of the their labor. |

con la propia regla (“Ora et Labora”) los
monjes Benedictinos Silvestrinos del monasterio de San
Silvestro Abate cuidan desde siempre las relaciones
con la humanidad mediante la oración, el consuelo
espiritual y la ayuda material.
Su trabajo, resultado de siglos de estudio, empirismo
y sabiduría, se articula con la instrucción
y la formación de los jóvenes con el estudio,
con la atención al huerto y, sobre todo, con
la atención al hombre.
Su tradición centenaria los ha hecho depositarios
de fórmulas y productos que todavía se
hacen siguiendo las antiguas elaboraciones de un tiempo.
Su seriedad, su ética, su experiencia, pero sobre
todo su aplicación han conducido a que, todavía
hoy en día, se pueda apreciar el fruto de su
labor.

pflegten schon immer, der Tradition wegen, aber vor allem
um der Regel „Ora et Labora“ gerecht zu werden,
ihre Beziehung zur Menschlichkeit mittels des Gebets,
des geistigen Trostes und der materiellen Hilfe.
Ihre Arbeit, Resultat Jahrhunderte langer Studien, auf
Erfahrung beruhender Kenntnisse und Weisheit, artikuliert
sich in der Unterweisung und Erziehung der jungen Menschen,
in der Sorge um die Lehre, den Garten, und vor allem in
der Sorge um den Menschen.
Ihre hundertjährige Tradition vermochte die Bewahrung
der Rezepturen und Produkte, die auch heute noch nach
der antiken Verarbeitungsweise von damals hergestellt
werden. Ihre Ernsthaftigkeit, ihre Ethik, ihre Erfahrung,
aber vor allem ihre Hingabe haben es möglich gemacht,
dass man auch heute noch die Frucht ihrer Arbeit zu würdigen
weiß. |
